My name is Hannah Rose; my journey into non-toxic and sustainable crafts began several years ago, as I was brought into the world of chronic illness through my own long-term health struggles.

In seeking answers for my own health, I began to learn about the harmful effects many synthetic dyes, fabrics, and fragrances can be for both the consumer and environment.

Additionally, the heavy use of plastics in all categories ensures not only more environmental damage, but products that are not meant to endure.

I wanted to make pieces that use sustainable and long-lasting materials such as leather, cotton, and linen. Instead of using commercial paints, botanical dyes made from locally-foraged plants and traditional dye methods make these products a safer choice.

Because plants change their color expression during each season, every piece ends up being completely unique. As time passes, the leather’s will provide an even richer depth of color.

This process has resulted in jewelry and accessories that are meant to endure and be enjoyed for many years.
